Which pad setting works best for the Rode Videomic?
I wanted to see how the pad settings inside the Rode Videomic compared to one another with connecting it directly to the T2i 550D microphone input.
Also in this test I compare the T2i microphone input to my computer microphone input as well.
The winner was the 0dB pad setting going directly into the T2i 550D which was a little bit of a surprise for me since I thought the computer’s non-AGC automatic gain control would have performed better than the camera’s AGC input.
The next test after this one will be testing the AGC.
Use it on 0db there is noo hissing noise!!
