New Konova DSLR Video Slider and Upgrade Kit

The new Konova slider is a little more light weight and better looking.

Here is a quick video of me upgrading my old Konova slider for DSLR video usage to the new parts.

I really didn’t like the old feet and I am much happier with the new ones that don’t wiggle loose.

There is a video floating around of Konova demonstrating a motor and controller at a trade show that can be retro fitted to the slider, any mention of a release date.

Great product. I bought one based on your recomendation. It works great! It is just like you described. I use your “finger drag” trick all the time. It really helps.

Thanks for the review. Any info on motors / motion control systems that will work for the Konova? I contacted Kessler Cranes, and their ElectraDrives only work for their products.

One other thing. I saw that it looks as though they are coming out with a motor system. Since they sent you the new legs, did they mention anything about the motor system?

Any chance you can do a review of the motorized kit for the Konova slider. Do you have any info on the more advanced control box suitable for time lapse?

Dave, Very impressed with your videos and buying the Konova Full System Bundle, as a result. Are you an affiliate? If so, I’d like to make sure you get a commission.

I want to buy everything I think I’d need in one fell swoop. I’m a real estate photographer getting into video and this system seems like it’s a perfect starting point for me. So, along with the slide system, I’m buying the tripod and the joystick you recommend. But is there anything I’m missing? If you were me, what else might you buy, if anything? Thanks.
