Nice video, thats an amazing lens I wish I could afford it haha but keep up the great work!
Thats all 70-200? Do you have footage of other lenses?
Nice way to wake up to Easter morning, Dave.
Thanks as always,
Dan
Hi Dave, did you shoot with a flat picture style and then colour correct and grade or was that with a more standard contrasty, sharp, saturated style?
Thank,
Dale
@Dale I shot neutral and added a little too much sharpening and saturation in post.
Thanks, always curious how you have things set up as I know you experiment with lots of different styles and combinations of pre+post adjustments : )
Always have fun watching and reading what your up to.
beautiful pictures! did you try the mark 1 or mark 2 version?
@Andy I didn’t know it had different versions so I didn’t look.
Hi Dave,
Nice work, congratulations.
I saw your blog on the Adobe’s site as a recommended site for DSLR video editing.

Dave,
Too bad I missed ya! I was there around 1 p.m. or so and got to play around with the 70-200 as well. I managed to catch up to one of the teams sporting the 800 mm L series and snapped my camera on that. I never knew a lens could have such a long throw. Great Shots!
Btw Dave, regarding the photos of the cheetah and lion, did those came straight of the camera with some light color correction or is there HDR involved?
@Rick no HDR just some Lightroom adjustments.
@Dave.. impressive! Would you say that with your regular canon lenses a picture wouldnt even come close to this? In other words, that lens makes the picture so much richer..?
